I have been on the
hunt for the
#No1PorkBurger - and frankly speaking, there has been a lot of pork burger places that failed my expectations. This dinner however, was not a
#No1PorkBurger outing - I came here to scout out the place; if it was good then I'll bring the gang there mar... =) Anyways, here's my pork burger experience...

The MEAT EXPERTS.
For those of you who havent been to Hartamas Shopping Centre in a long time, this was previously the Mr Ho's Deli. You can also buy fresh pork here - in fact, that is their core business. The restaurant - is more of a side income. *woots*

Imported pork from US.

Awesome array of special recipe pork sausages and salamis and so on...

To cater to some students here - mind you, there are PLENTY here. All from Taylors College marr.... - Meat Experts also got the lunch sets, specially catered for students.

Meet David Choong - the pork expert. The sifu. =)

Check out all the sausages!!!!!!! ahhh.... HEAVENLY!!!

...and then the BACON too!!!!!
Okay - I'm beginning to feel hungry already... lets go to the FOOD!!!

This is the bacon and walnut salad. I thought it was quite nice, but I reckon it would be even better if the salad was a little warm, instead of it being cold.

Err... I forgotten the names of the sausages that I randomly picked from the counter.
Go for the Italian pork sausages... truly heavenly!!!
And so... here comes the MAIN EVENT, the showstopper, the... PORK BURGER.

The first look at the pork burger. It came with the crinkly not so nice fries. The burger bread was the cheaper type. The patty however, looks pretty impressive. Based on my #No1PorkBurger ratings, I think Meat Experts' Pork Burger would get 6/10 for looks. As for juicyness, unfortunately it was not as juicy as Andes - but the cheese did make the difference. Thankfully. A 7/10 for this department!

Now it comes to taste. I like the idea that each bite that I take - I can feel the chunkyness of the pork patty, not too salty, not too hard and texture just nice. I would give it a 7/10 for Taste. As for Portion, the pork burger was priced at RM18.90 - not the most expensive nor the cheapest, but for the portions, I think it is quite a good price. That makes it a 8/10 for Portion.

Some bonus points for this place? Easy to park, no bookings/reservations required, food came pretty fast - and the owner, David - you have to have a chat with him. He IS... the PORK EXPERT. Ask him for where's the best places to go to for pork, the best ribs, all this and a lot more... Extra 7 points here!
All in - the Meat Experts' Pork Burger gets a total of 35/50 - or 70%. It would come in pretty high ranked. But this is the unofficial ratings only - perhaps I shall plan a #No1PorkBurger outing here soon!
They have some nice pork chop as well - so do try that too!
