As some of you may already know, I just came back from Taipei. There will be a series of blog posts - titled Travel Taipei, featuring a whole lot of Taipei goodies and food. The first one on the long list..... TAIWANESE SAUSAGES!!! =)
According to Wikipedia, the taiwanese sausage is a Taiwanese snack, common in night market. A grilled Taiwanese sweet pork sausage wrapped in a grilled salty sticky rice sausage. Usually wrapped with garlic and basil. The customer can also choose the flavor they want, such as black pepper, garlic, chili, butter, and chocolate.
We stayed at this hotel called Just Sleep Hotel, in Ximending, so the first shopping area that we headed to was indeed.... XIMENDING. =)

The sausages... it was larger than normal sausages.
NT$40 for a stick of sausage... that is about RM4+
