One of the main attractions of Taiwan - and Taipei specifically, is its array of fooooodddd. While we had some awesome sausages at night, finding a place for breakfast was not too hard. I have to admit - the hotel breakfast was nothing special though; cereal, fruits and toasts... really not my type of breakfast.
On one of the mornings, we headed from our hotel at Ximending and off to the Shandao Temple station, which is just a few stops away.
The Shandao Temple station.
Just outside the station, we went into the Huashan Market. It is a small-ish building, with a lot of stalls and so on, selling clothes, jade, pretty random stuffs... we then headed upstairs for the breakfast place =) I never thought that the place had an awesome restaurant/food court... the queue for food... it was almost as long as the queue for Air Asia checking-in!!!
Now... guess what we had...
Soya bean milk - both hot and cold for breakfast.
Super crispy yau char kueh - a whole foot long!
The egg sandwich - I like to call it the roti telur instead! =P
