On yet another of my Ruby's Resort postings, I would like to showcase the resort itself. I just realized that I had details and pictures of its activities and stuffs to do, but nothing yet on the resort itself. I had previously mentioned about its food, the beaches and of course, the awesome ATVs. Here they are:-
The Ruby's Resort van that greets you at the entrance. Basically, they have this service where you can get them to fetch you out to town lor I guess - for the bigger groups, or those going to see fireflies etc etc... Didnt enquire on the rates though; sorry =P
The room that we stayed in - the ACACIA. The room can comfortably fit 4 people - and costs RM300 per night. I think that is a very fair price lor (works out to be RM75 per head marr). The rooms are very spacious, with an attached bathroom as well. I would recommend this ones for small groups of 4...
For those couples - i.e. 2 people only, then you might want to consider the Lily, Kempas or Alamanda suites. I didnt see how it is inside, but its strictly for 2 people only, and it is going for a very attractive rate of RM 130 per night!
..and then there's also the 6 pax Jambu chalets. Its meant for families or bigger groups, and the chalet costs RM250 per night only!!! That's less than RM50 per head.. where to find such affordable accommodation in Cherating wei???
Of course, there are plenty of other chalets available too - such as the Angsana, Palm, Tembusu, Meranti and also the Margosa too =) You can read more about it here.
Perhaps my favourite feature at Ruby's - The hammock! While waiting to check in, I actually fell asleep there... ahahahaha...
And of course... the treehouse as well.
By the way, Ruby says that the facilities (hammock and treehouse) are strictly for resort guests only. If you got no reservation, cannot sleep there wan ok. To make your life easier, why not also click on Ruby's website here http://www.rubys-resort.com/ - thank you! =)
