Dim Sum is the Cantonese term for a type of Chinese dish of small bite size portions, steamed and served in small bamboo baskets. This would be the traditional meaning of dim sum - however, today's dim sum comes in such a wide selection and varieties - including steamed, pan-fried, deep-fried, baked, rice rolls and a lot more!!! =)
Recently, I had the opportunity to try out Chef Chong Lim Fong's awesome dim sum selections at Tai Zi Heen in Prince Hotel. They have an impressive selection consisting of both the traditional Hong Kong dim sum, their very own Tai Zi Heen's signature dim sum as well as the popular Dim Sum Odyssey!
Forgotten about Tai Zi Heen? Thats the one with the RM1 Peking Duck!!!!!
Just looking at it makes my mouth water...
Delicious, tasty and awesome variety. *like*
