Set designers of the television show "Mad Men" frequently use iconic examples of mid-Century modern furniture design on their sets, including "The Chair" by
Hans Wegner.
And in light of all the alcohol consumption taking place during business hours of every episode it is also appropriate that period pieces such as liquor cabinets are shown.
This makes me wonder if we're seeing the return of the Office Bar to the executive office.
On a separate note I also wonder if
Vladimir Kagan, the reigning grandfather of mid-Century modern furniture design, will be making a cameo appearance on "Mad Men" at some point.
