Today's food post is a very simple food post - but amongst one of my more frequently visited places when I'm at work! After a morning of stress and probably lotsa hard work, I always look for some good pork to cool me down, or in my own words - my very own Happy Meal. =)
After a long morning, I search for my favourite char siew!
I dont remember the name of the shop, but its the one opposite Restoran New Seaview, the shop does not have many stalls, so spotting the char siew rice stall would be pretty easy =P It is along Jalan 20/4, up the road from 3 Two Square / The Crest / Caltex etc.
The rice is nothing fancy, it is really the char siew that matters =)
Today I ordered char siew + siew yoke, thought of having a pork combo =)
Delicious, succulent, melts-in-your-mouth char siew. Fattening, but super awesome. =)
