Once again, the makan-holic in me got the better of myself - and I saw myself driving aimlessly (cos damn far mar...) towards Ampang area in search for something else other than the #No1PorkBurger - it was... chicken rice. This place came highly recommended by an old friend - old not meaning I've known him for long, but because he is old. LOL. (oooops soweee)
It was in perhaps the oldest part of Ampang area - but funnily enough, the place was somewhat called Bandar Baru Ampang. (what the...) The place is pretty famous - and in fact, it has a website too!!! =) I love my chicken rice - and as how I had previously mentioned before, everyone and anyone in the country would love to eat the nasi ayam - and here I am...
Restoran Loke Yun Ampang.From the outside, it looked pretty old school. But mind you - the shop is freaking deep!!! Walk right through and suddenly, you're like in another shop - which looked a lot more modern, refurbished and best part... AIR CONDITIONED! (that meant non-smoking though...)

You can choose between 'choy yun kai' or 'standard kai'.Basically one is like kampung chicken (taste much better, smoother, and nicer too!!!) - and the other is the standard market chicken lorr... It's quite easy to tell the difference... just see the pricing lor... Kampung chicken... 8/10!!! =D
For the more standard chicken, it was still quite good. I would still rate it above average at 7/10. All in - it was a pretty fulfilling meal. Late Sunday lunch with a bunch of good friends... =)
